Junus
Digital Torque/Velocity Amplifier for Brush Motors Junus delivers
high performance torque and velocity control for brush motors with the
setup convenience and drift-free performance of a digital amplifier.
New-generation DSP technology provides unprecedented bandwidth and
enables sensorless velocity control. Current loop tuning is automatic so
system commissioning is fast and simple. Proprietary modulation
techniques deliver high efficiency and reduce package size. Controller
interface is PWM or +/-10V current/velocity command.

Xenus
Offline Torque/Velocity/Position Amplifier with CANopen for
Brushless/Brush Motors Xenus is a high
performance, offline amplifier for position, velocity and torque control
of AC brushless and DC brush motors. Xenus can operate as a CANopen
networked drive or accept traditional analog and digital torque/velocity
commands. Xenus employs field oriented control for optimal motor
torque/speed performance. Current loop tuning is automatic. Copley's
advanced auto-phasing algorithm eliminates rewiring of encoder, halls
and motor phases.

Accelus delivers
optimal servo performance with the flexible, cost effective packaging
options you need. Torque and velocity modes are complemented by
step-and-direction position mode. New-generation DSP technology provides
unprecedented bandwidth and enables advanced commutation algorithms. The
Accelus Card is PCB mountable for optimal flexibility in connector
customization. The card can be mounted vertically for minimal footprint
or horizontally for the lowest profile. The panel version of Accelus is
fully enclosed with plug-in connectors for all interfaces. A wider power
range is available. Accelus Panel can be mounted vertically for minimal
footprint or horizontally for the lowest profile.

Offline Torque/Velocity Amplifiers The 5xx4 series
is a compact, offline solution for velocity and torque control of
brushless servomotors. A 3 kHz bandwidth current loop ensures high
performance torque control. Carrier Cancellation modulation is employed
for zero crossover distortion. For noise sensitive environments, an
optional Internal edge filter is available to minimize PWM switching
noise. In velocity mode, various performance levels can be achieved by
deriving velocity feedback from the encoder, Halls or motor back-emf.

503 Low
Power Torque Amplifier for Brushless Motors The 503 is a
compact and cost effective amplifier for torque control of brushless
motors. Commutation information is derived from Hall sensors. Loop gains
and continuous/peak current limits are set by a component header that
can be shipped pre-configured for optimal performance. No potentiometer
adjustments are required.

Offline UV Torque Amplifier for Brushless Motors The 7xx5 series
is a compact, offline solution (no transformer required) for sinusoidal torque control of
brushless servo motors. Designed to interface to controllers, which
generate a commutated current command, the 7xx5 accepts +/-10V commands
for the U and V motor windings and internally synthesizes the W winding
current. |

7225X Low Drift 1-2
Axes UV Torque Amplifier for Brushless Motors The 7225X series
is a temperature compensated, low-drift solution for applications
requiring a low torque ripple. A 4kHz bandwidth current loop ensures
high performance torque control. A 2-axis version is available for
applications where panel space efficiency is critical. The amplifier
accepts controller commutated current commands in the standard UV
format. The 7225X family operates from a DC supply without the
requirement for an isolation transformer. Carrier cancellation PWM
modulation is employed for zero crossover distortion. Models:

4xx Series
Torque/Velocity Amplifiers
The 400 series are third-generation amplifiers for dc brush motors.
Models operate from +24 to +225 VDC unregulated power supplies, and
output peak currents from 10 to 30 A. Built using surface-mount
technology, these amplifiers
offer a full complement of features for servo motor control.
All models take industry standard ±10 V control signals as input, and
operate motors in three different modes: torque, velocity, and voltage
feedback with IR compensation.

4xx2 Series
Torque Amplifiers
"Z" versions of 4122 and 4212 models
feature 50% modulation that delivers no zero-current deadband for
applications that require fine motion around zero such as voice coil
motors, laser focusing, and wire bonding. Built using surface-mount
technology, these amplifiers offer plug and play operation in a very
small package. All models take industry standard ±10 V control signals
as input, and operate motors in torque mode, or velocity mode using
analog brush tachometers. |

High Power Amplifiers & Systems
Copley Controls' high power 4-quadrant, filtered output DC amplifiers operate
at high switching frequency enabling L-C filters to be built into the
amplifiers case. The result is a low noise PWM power amplifier with
characteristics much like a linear amplifier, but without the linear's
high dissipation and bulk. Copley amplifiers are available either as
individual components, or as complete systems. The system product lines
include the DC power supply, fully integrated into rack assemblies for
single or multi-axis requirements. |
