Servo Systems Co. offers our customers the Animatics SmartMotor™ family of products. SmartMotor is a complete motion control system contained in a single component and designed for high reliability, precision OEM equipment. It combines a multi-axis motion controller, amplifier, encoder, and network manager with a brushless DC servo motor to form a true closed loop system. Legend Series SmartMotors are designed for high-speed, high-power applications. Each Legend Series SmartMotor is a complete servo motion control system with torque in excess of 1,000 oz.-in./7 Nm with no load speeds up to 10,000 RPM. OEM Series SmartMotors are designed specifically for high-volume, price sensitive OEM applications with torque in excess of 150 oz.-in./1 Nm and no load speeds up to 9,000 RPM. Animatics' new addition to the SmartMotor product family, ServoStep, expands that capability to step motors with a fully integrated, high torque, low speed DC motor for economical industrial OEM applications, requiring especially high, low-speed torque.
